Throughout the 2 years it took us to conceive Hazel I often dreamed of our baby's nursery. How it would look, what emotion it would evoke.
Once I fell pregnant I started searching for those perfect pieces and the scandinavian black and white nursery I dreamed of began to come to life. And then Hazel arrived. We hadn't painted, the floors hadn't been done, all I had really completed was a pinterest board and a rubbermaid bin of those unique finds that would one day grace our baby's space.
Once Hazel was born I decided to add touches of pink into her nursery - something I swore I didn't want, but somehow my opinion changed when I became a mama to a sweet baby girl.
Hazel doesn't sleep in her room yet, but it's a special space. It was imperative to us both that we got Hazel's nursery done before she came home. After 6 months in the hospital we wanted our baby girl's room to be complete so we busted our butts to get it done, and it was finished in time for Hazel's homecoming (minus the baseboards).
